Alicia Leal of Stockton, California passed away August 6, 2019. She was born on July 2, 1931 to Pedro (Pete) and Narcisa Villa in Floresville. She married Rudolpho (Rudy) Leal on September 22, 1947 and started their married life in Coughran and later lived in Pleasanton before moving to Stockton, California where they raised their six children.
Alice remained a faithful and loving wife to her husband Rudy for 46 years, until his death in 1993. Besides being known for her tortillas and lemon pie, she was known for her patience and her faith in people and God. She had a kindness about her. She was quiet but friendly and rarely lost her patience or temper.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents Pete and Narcisa Villa, her husband Rudy Leal, and sister, Gloria Martinez. She is survived by her children Corina (Don) Davis, Narciso (Julie) Leal, Rita (Roy) Loera, Rudy (Jeanette) Leal, Melinda Leal and Renee (Anthony) Murphy, her brother Pete (Mary Socorro (Coeyo) Villa and sister Gracie (Max) Arguijo, 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and many other extended family.
Alice was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 12, 1958 following the footsteps of her mother-inlaw, Seferina Leal.
She will be missed and fondly remembered by her many family members and friends.
Services for Alice were held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Stockton, California.
