The Poteet boys basketball team fell in overtime in the Bronze bracket championship of the Jourdanton Classic.
The Aggies finished 1-3 at the tournament after losing to San Antonio Gervin 57-48 in overtime Saturday morning.
Poteet found itself in the Bronze bracket after going 0-2 in pool play.
The Aggies started the tournament with a 26-23 loss to McMullen County on Thursday.
Senior Moses Guerra carried the load, scoring 17 points for Poteet.
Ralph Lopez was next on the Aggies with four points.
Following the loss, Poteet took on host Jourdanton on Thursday.
The Indians prevailed 76-39 behind a game-high 13 points from Jourdanton senior Payton Kaiser.
David Sandoval led the Aggies with 10 points, and he was followed by Guerra with nine and Shaun Gilliam with eight.
Poteet picked up its lone win against Center Point on Friday to start bracket play.
The Aggies won 52-33, and every Poteet player scored in the game.
Guerra again led the team with 14 points. He was helped by Gilliam and Sonny Orozco, who each scored seven.
Poteet took on Pettus at home Tuesday and will host a three-day tournament that begins Thursday. The Aggies and Lady Aggies will each have home tournaments through Saturday.
