ACLS midweek results in, more to come

It’s midway through the 2022 Atascosa County Stock Show. For some participants, the anticipation for their event is still building, but for others, the results are already in.

Cattle and ag mechanics projects began moving in on Sunday, joined by poultry on Monday. On Tuesday, in hopped the rabbits and the hogs began rooting around the area. Judging took place for poultry Monday morning and breeding beef and market steers were judged that afternoon. Ag mechanics and rabbits were judged on Tuesday as well as lamb, goat, swine and beef skillathon on Tuesday.

The following are Grand and Reserve Grand Champions results available as of press time Tuesday.

Steers

Upcoming events

On Wednesday, breeding and market goats, lambs and breeding gilts will be judged followed by market hogs on Thursday.

The grounds will open at 8 a.m. on Friday for auction setup to take place throughout the day. The auction will begin on Saturday at 10 a.m. Buyer Registration opens at 8 a.m.
