ACLEOA receives $5,340

The Shot Glass/The Other Shot Glass held a raffle drawing, with proceeds benefitting the Atascosa County Law Enforcement Officer’s Association (ACLEOA). On Oct. 11, Sharon LaGrange, owner of The Shot Glass/The Other Shot Glass, presented a donation in the amount of $5,340 to the Atascosa County Law Enforcement Officer’s Association. Lt. Max Peralta of the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office received the check on behalf of the ACLEOA. He also serves as ACLEOA president. He was joined by Atascosa County Constable Cregg Thompson (Pct. 3) who is a director of ACLEOA and Sgt. Jesse Martinez of the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office, also an ACLEOA director.

Others serving with the association include Jourdanton Police Sgt. Pierce Ruple, Jourdanton Police Sgt. Timothy Sawicki and Laura Sawicki.

Raffle tickets were sold at The Other Shot Glass, for the chance to win a BBQ pit and $500 worth of liquor- for a total value of $1,300, donated by The Shot Glass/The Other Shot Glass.

Atascosa County Commissioner Mark Gillespie (Pct. 1) drew the winning ticket. The lucky winner was Tami Monzingo of Poteet.
