A very special Christmas

The administration and staff at Retama Manor Nursing Center/Pleasanton South, in coordination with the community brought many smiles and happiness to all the residents during their Christmas celebrations.

Residents danced and sang to the music brought to the facility by Christmas carolers, live bands and live mariachis. They also enjoyed a visit from Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and the Blue Santa. The residents received many gifts from the staff and community.

Everyone came together to make this a “Very Special Christmas” for all the residents in the facility.

“I want to say thank you to all my staff and the community for making our residents feel appreciated and special during this holiday season. This is my first Christmas in Pleasanton and I am very impressed by how the staff and the community came together to share their blessings. It really makes Pleasanton a very special city,” said Yolanda Velez, LNFA, Chief Executive Officer of Retama Manor Nursing Center/Pleasanton South.
