Margaret Stefanagge Coleman, age 78, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on Sept. 25, 2017.
Margaret was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1939. She is a graduate of Pleasanton High School, Incarnate Word College and Texas A & I. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland Jerry (Pebo) Coleman; father, Louis Emmanuel Stefanagge; mother, Marguerite Anaya Stefanagge; and second husband, Jerome T. Brite.
She spent her career in the education of others. Career highlights include teaching elementary school, serving as the principal of Pleasanton Primary School, and serving as the principal of Our Lady of Grace Academy. She was an active member of Saint Andrew Catholic Church.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Stefanie and son-in-law Tad Sims of Von Ormy, Texas; stepson Charles Brite of Blanco, Texas; stepson Lee Brite and wife Holly of Kerrville, Texas; step-grandsons Austin Brite; Pierce Brite; Ben Snelgrove; Sam Snelgrove; and many dear cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28 starting at 5:00 pm at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton, followed by a recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will take place the following day, Friday Sept. 29 at 11:00 am at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton. Interment will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery No 2 in Pleasanton.
