The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a report of a theft located in the 7000 block of FM 1333, 2 miles southwest off FM 173.
On Thursday, August 8, 2013 sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a property in the 7000 block of FM 1333 for the theft of tools. Upon the deputies arrival they were informed by the building manager that he has been building a home at that property and tools used in the construction are stored in a travel trailer at the location. The manager stated they left the previous day, August 7, 2013 at about 4:00 p.m. and when he and his crew arrived the following day at 8:45 a.m. on August 8, 2013, they discovered that the gate to the property was tampered with and the travel trailer’s locks were removed. Property stolen included an air compressor, a hopper, 4 Dewalt drills, 2 Dewalt skill saws, 2 framing nailguns,3setsofscaffolding,2laddersanda3tonair conditioner unit. Estimated value of the property stolen is over $10,000.00.
Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
