Forks, Digger & More Stolen



The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a report of a theft located on the IH 37 northbound access road, 3 miles south of FM 541.

On Monday, May 6, 2013 sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a construction site on the IH 37 northbound access road, 3 miles south of FM 541 for a theft. Upon the deputies arrival they were informed by the complainant that on Friday, May 3, 2013 they quit work for the weekend and when they arrived to work on Monday, May 6, 2013 they discovered the steel forks for the BobCat skid steer and the postal diggers and augers had been stolen along with miscellaneous tools such as the water hoses post hole diggers, shovels, etc. The estimated value of the property stolen is over $4,000.00.

Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
