The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a
FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve the burglary of a residence located in the 200 block of Tumlinson Road, located .03 of a mile off Verdi Road, 1.5 miles north of US 281.
On February 13, 2015 at about 5:30 p.m. sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Tumlinson Road for a report of a burglary. Upon the deputies arrival they were informed by the homeowner that they left that morning at 7:30 a.m. and when they returned later that evening at about 5:00 p.m. they discovered the back door window had been broken and their residence had entered. Upon further investigation it was determined that the burglars broke the back door window with a brick and entered the residence. Property taken in the burglary included ½ carat diamond earrings, a jade ring with platinum silver band, a gold wedding band, a sterling silver wedding band, a ½ carat diamond ring, 2 gold diamond tennis bracelets and a men’s Rolex watch. The estimated value of the property stolen was over $12,000.00.
Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
