County Rd. 306 Stolen Items


 

 

The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a burglary located in the 2000 block of County Road 306, located 4 miles south of Poteet, 2 miles west of TX HWY 16 south.

On November 10, 2014 at about 5:30 p.m. sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of County Road 306 for a burglary. Deputies arrived and observed the homeowners outside the residence. As deputies cleared the residence they observed the rear door to the residence was kicked in. Inside the residence they observed that most of the residence was untouched except for the master bedroom where all the property was stolen from. Stolen property included a Remington 6mm rifle, a Savage HMR 17mm rifle, a Smith & Wesson 9mm CSG Chief Special pistol, a Smith & Wesson AR 15 .22 caliber rifle, a Remington 12 gauge shotgun, a Colt AR 15 rifle, a Sig Sauer .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol, a .410 single shot shotgun, a Remington 870 Windmaster shotgun and a Colt 1911 .45 caliber pistol. Also stolen was a jewelry box that contained numerous pieces of jewelry which included Montana Silversmith earrings, diamond solitaire earrings, a cross necklace, a silver cross necklace, James Avery bracelets that contained numerous James Avery Charms, numerous James Avery rings and earrings, a Pleasanton High School class ring and numerous watches. The estimated value of the property stolen was over $10,000.00.

Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it. If anyone has any more information on this case, knows who committed the crime or knows where the stolen property can be found, they are urged to call Crime Stoppers immediately and be eligible for the large cash reward.
