The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a report of a burglary located on County Road 343, located 7 miles east of FM 140.
On July 20, 2014 at about 12:30 p.m. sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Whitetail Ranch on County Road the 343 for a report of a burglary. Upon the deputies arrival they were informed by the property owner that at about 12:00 p.m. he entered his furniture building shop on the property and immediately noticed he was missing numerous pieces of equipment. He stated he was last at the property the previous day, July 19, 2014 and had left at 4:30 p.m. and had made sure that everything was secure. Stolen property included 2 air compressors, a Bose Bluetooth speaker, 2 Dewalt sanders, a Mikita grinder, 2 Orbit sanders, a nail gun, 2 grinders, a mitre saw with laser, a Bosch router, a Bosch jigsaw, a Mikita jigsaw, 2 Dewalt drills, a Dye grinder, a Mikita grinder, a Husqvarna chainsaw, an Echo blower and a Rigid sander along with a side by side flatbed ATV, a yellow and black in color toolbox and an electric pump. The estimated value of the property stolen is over $10,000.00.
Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
