Mower Taken On Eichman



The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a report of a theft located in the 2000 block of Eichman Road, 2.7 miles south of Stacy Road off of TX HWY 16.

On April 4, 2014 at about 3:00 p.m. sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of Eichman Road to take a report of a stolen riding lawn mower from a residence. Upon the deputies arrival they were informed by the homeowner that the riding lawnmower was stored under a carport in front of a vehicle and could not be moved unless the vehicle was moved. The homeowner stated his wife left that morning at around 11:00 a.m. and returned later that day. The riding lawnmower was discovered to be missing at 10:00 p.m. later that night. The riding lawnmower was described as a yellow in color 2002 SCAG riding lawnmower with a 42” deck, with a welded tail hitch and new tires. The estimated value of the property stolen is over $3000.00

Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
