Shalimar burglary



The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a

FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a burglary of a residence located in the 400 block of Dawnridge, located in the Shalimar Subdivision off of TX HWY 16.

On December 27, 2014 at about 12:00 p.m. sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Dawnridge for a report of a burglary. Upon the deputies arrival they were informed by the homeowner that the residence under construction and a trailer parked behind the residence were both broken into and numerous items were taken. The homeowner stated he was last at the location on December 20, 2014. Stolen property included a Hitachi nail gun, a Porter Cable router, a chandelier, a Chicago ½” drill, a Porter Cable sawsall and a Husky tool pouch with miscellaneous hand tools. The estimated value of the property damaged was over $1,000.00.

Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
