Residence burglarized



The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a burglary that occurred in the 7800 block of Coughran Road.

On December 7, 2011 sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 7800 block of Coughran Road for a burglary. Deputies made contact with the homeowners who stated they were away from their residence from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. that same day and when they arrived back at their residence they found their residence had been burglarized. Although there was no physical evidence found at the scene, it was determined that the point of entry was a door that leads into the kitchen. Property taken in the burglary included a 37” Vizio flatscreen TV, a gallon jar with assorted change, a Fender guitar in a black case and numerous pieces of jewelry which included pendants, brooches, ladies rings and earrings. The estimated value of the property stolen is over $1,200.00.

Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
