The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a recent burglary in the city of Pleasanton.
On Monday morning, November 28, Pleasanton Police were dispatced to Water Well Services located at 1209 Bensdale in Pleasanton. Employees showing up for work shortly after 6:00 a.m. found that two trucks had been stolen and the building had been burglarized. The thieves took a white 2006 GMC pickup and a white 1999 International truck. The offices had also been ransacked and a Dell laptop computer was stolen. A short time later, Atascosa County deputies recovered both trucks. Several thousand dollars in hand tools were taken by the suspects. The International truck was found west of Poteet near FM 2146 and County Road 304. The thieves had made an unsuccessful attempt to set the truck on fire. Police have determined that three suspects are involved. Police investigators recovered several pieces of evidence that are currently being processed.
Pleasanton Police are sifting through leads in this case but are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve this crime.
