The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a theft that occurred in the Clear Lake Subdivision off of Stacey Road, 8 miles north of Poteet.
On May 8, 2012 sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the corner of Clear Lake Loop and Clear Lake Drive located in the Clear Lake Subdivision for a theft. When deputies arrived they were informed by the complainant that when he arrived at his property he discovered numerous tools were missing from a flatbed trailer parked on his property. Deputies were informed that everything was intact on May 4, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. and he discovered his tools missing on May 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Stolen property included an Alligator chainsaw, hedge clippers, canvas tarps, weedeaters, shovels, rakes, a toolbox containing tools, two truck storage boxes, a Craftsman chainsaw, a Stihl Chainsaw, a Daisy pellet rifle, a Remington .22 caliber rifle, a hammock and a barbecue pit and stand. The estimated value of the property stolen was valued at over $2000.00.
Sheriff’s investigators have some leads on this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
