The Atascosa County 4-H members attended the Commissioners Court meeting on Monday, August 8 and presented the court with an overview of the clubs highlights from the past year. This included community services such as the Main Street Outreach Thanksgiving Dinner, Relay for Life Bake Sale, Food drive for CAM, monies raised for Elis Fund, 4-H community center cleanup and tree planting and clean up at the Strawberry Festival Grounds. The 4-Hers also shared various accomplishments and contests they have participated in such as Livestock Shows, record book contests, rifle matches, dog shows and photography to name a few.
