The parishioners of St. Luke’s Loire Catholic Church are getting ready for their 10th Annual Fall Festival scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held on the church grounds and in the airconditioned parish hall.
Bring your appetite and enjoy their famous barbecue plate meal being served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The plate consists of brisket, sausage, pinto beans, country potatoes, cole slaw, dessert and iced tea.
There will be fun for the whole family. Some of the activities include children’s games, an antique car show, arts and craft vendors, face painting, bake sale and pony rides.
Attendees of this year’s festival will once again be treated to the Polka music of The Incredible Music Makers from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Hunter Chavez Y Los Cazadorez joins the festival for the first time this year and will take the stage from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Browse the many items at the Silent Auction which opens at 10 a.m. and the Live Auction scheduled to start at 1 p.m. There will be a Super Prize Drawing starting at 4 p.m. The festival accepts Visa, Master- Card, American Express and Discover cards for your purchases.
