Schools close through Feb. 19

Pleasanton, Jourdanton, Poteet, Charlotte and McMullen County ISDs will be closed through Friday, Feb. 19, due to the continuance of weather conditions, electrical power issues, water conditions and rolling blackouts. Monday evening, a burst water pipe inside the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Jourdanton resulted in an evacuation of the hotel and major damage to the interior of the building.
