Area playoff boys basketball

Area playoff boys basketball goes down with McMullen County playing Thursday and Pleasanton and Jourdanton playing their games on Friday. Jourdanton hopes to break through to the regional quarterfinal after falling in overtime last year in the area playoff. Pleasanton hopes to make the regional quarterfinal for the first time since 2017.

Senior Days Continue Feb. 25

Senior Days at the Pleasanton Civic Center will continue on Monday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. Come on by as Retama Manor hosts an arts and crafts event for local seniors. This free event is sponsored by the Pleasanton Express.

Drug tip leads to one arrest
