Scholarship fund set for Layton Ervin

A scholarship fund has been established at South Texas Trust Bank for 8-year-old Layton Ervin. Layton lost his dad Charles Ervin in May. Layton is the son of Jennifer Mathis Ervin and grandson of Ricky and Vicky Mathis. He was an educator at South San ISD and formerly taught and served as principal in the county.
