Train hits 18-wheeler

Tuesday evening a train struck an 18-wheeler near Campbellton at FM 791. The driver of the 18-wheeler was sent via air flight to a hospital in San Antonio. First responders included Campbellton VFD, Pleasanton VFD and DPS.

Poteet ISD swears in new trustees

On Monday, May 15 during the regular meeting of the Poteet Independent School Board of Trustees, two individuals were sworn-in. Rocky Wilson-Place 1 and Albert Garza-Place 2 have assumed their official duties as members of the Poteet ISD Board of Trustees.
