Former Aggie inks deal to play college hoops

Recent Poth graduate Jordan Carrasco recently signed his letter of intent to play basketball at Arlington Baptist College. The long-time Poteet student is more than excited about an opportunity to compete at the college level.  

Moving dedication ceremony for officers

Sales, use tax payments down from last year




Pleasanton’s sales and use tax allocations dropped 36.57 percent for the taxing month of May and reported to the State Comptroller in July. The amount paid was $293,052.70, down from last year’s payment of $462,025.47. Two cities in Atascosa County had a positive change.
