Coronado arrested on warrants




Arrested on Monday, July 28 was Charlie Coronado following a brief stand-off with the Pleasanton Police Department. Coronado had several felony warrants against him and was located outside of a dwelling at the 800 block of Market Street. He allegedly evaded the police. Suspect arrested



The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in the February 5 burglary of a residence on Parsons Road east of Pleasanton. Sergeant Kevin Draughn investigated the burglary where around $10,000 in household items were stolen. Sergeant Draughn was able to find and collect fingerprints at the crime scene. Comptroller releases sales tax figures; tax free holiday announced



(AUSTIN) — Texas Comptroller Susan Combs said today that state sales tax revenue in June was $2.24 billion, up 3.7 percent compared to June 2013. “Sales tax revenues continue to grow at a moderate pace,” Combs said. “The increase was led by remittances from the wholesale trade, services, and restaurant sectors.
