Poteet cops arrest two for drug possession

After a vehicle failed to stop at Avenue H and Fourth Street in Poteet, officers detected an alleged odor of marijuana. Jesse Daniel Perez, 21, was arrested for possession of marijuana after admitting to have the substance in his possesion. Found were 2.51 ounces of marijuana in the seat of the vehicle.
