Mildred Elizabeth Slater Gomez was born January 6,1931 to Travis and Edna Slater in San Antonio and went to be with Christ on October 14, 2016.  

Douglas Travis Ray, age 42, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away October 7, 2016 accidentally while snorkeling on vacation in Belize, one of his favorite vacation spots.  

Budge "Butch" Frank Polasek of Jourdanton passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the age of 82.  He was born in Floresville on January 20, 1934 to Alvin and Bessie (Mlynek) Polasek.
