Celebrate 2012 National FFA Week, February 18-25

Local Atascosa County FFA Chapters will celebrate National FFA Week February 18-25, 2012. I Believe is this year’s theme, and it celebrates more than 80 years of FFA traditions while eagerly anticipating the organization’s future. More than half a million nationwide members will participate in National FFA Week activities at local, state and national levels.
FFA members are the innovators and leaders of tomorrow. Through agricultural education and hands-on learning, they prepare for the more than 300 career opportunities in the food, fiber and natural resources industry.
National FFA Week is sponsored by Tractor Supply Company and Carhartt as a special project of the National FFA Foundation and annually encompasses February 22nd, George Washington’s birthday.
