Rupert Wayne Wallace, age 69, of Pleasanton, TX, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012, in Floresville. Wayne was born February 15, 1943 in San Antonio.

He is survived by his wife Linda Wallace of Poth; son Danny Pressley of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughters Honey Knight and husband Lonnie of Poth and Candi Hawkins and husband Jason of Floresville; sisters Edith Mireles of North Carolina and Helen Yantis and husband Wayne of Marion as well as grandchildren Nicholas, Reyanne, Savannah, Summer, Drew, Brooke, Kristie, Taushlyn, Maddie, Kendall, Garrett, Kelsey and Jessie and great grandchildren Bentley, Emma and Jackson.

Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. The funeral service will be held at Hurley Funeral Home on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Jourdanton City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to: St. Jude's Children Hospital: 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Shriner's Children Hospital: 6977 Main St. Houston, TX 77030.
