Roger Aguero, age 43, of Christine, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012, in Jourdanton. He was born April 11, 1969 in San Antonio raised in Christine and graduated from Jourdanton ISD.

He is survived by his wife Mary Aguero; daughter Rakel Reina Aguero; sons Roger Aguero, Jr, Israel Rey Aguero and Frankie Sysco Aguero all of Christine; sister Johanna Flores and husband of Fort Worth; brothers Robert Gonzales and wife Mary Helen of Charlotte, Manuel Aguero and wife Juanita of Christine, Billy Aguero and wife Josie of Poteet, Freddie Aguero of Poteet, Charlie Aguero and wife Lucy of Charlotte and Santos Aguero and wife Cynthia of Jourdanton as well as 25 nieces and nephews and 26 great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, from 2 - 9 p.m. with a wake beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012. Funeral service will also be held at Hurley Funeral Home at 10 a.m., Friday, August 17, 2011. Interment to follow at Christine City Cemetery.
