Jourdanton High School will have freshman orientation on Thursday, August 9, from 1:30-5:30 p.m. Students are to meet in the high school cafeteria. The goals of this orientation are to give students skills that will be helpful to successfully complete their core courses, provide them opportunities to join clubs or organizations on campus, to develop a rapport with teachers and to feel comfortable in the high school setting.

We will also have a short session for parents from 6-6:30 on Thursday, August 9.

Student schedules may be picked up on the following days provided students have all their shots and are in compliance with the school dress code as far as hair and piercings. School starts on Monday, August 27 from 8 a.m. -3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, August 8 10- 11:30 a.m., 12th grade students; 1:30-3 p.m. 11th grade students; August 9, 10 -11:30 a.m., 10th grade students and 9th graders may pick up schedules at Freshman orientation.

Parents may not pick up student schedules.
