Sarah Jo Luna, age 29, of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in Charlotte. She was born September 21, 1982 in Jourdanton.

She is survived by her parents, Jesse and Henrietta Cantu of Charlotte; her daughters and sons, Samantha Jo Luna, Natalie Raelyn Ward, and Jessica Rose Ward, Johnny Jimenez III, and Daniel Thomas Luna Jr., all of Charlotte, as well as her sisters and brothers, Jessie Jo Cantu, Kayla Rene Cantu, Juan Jesus Cantu Jr., and wife Priscilla, Everett Ray Cantu, Juan Jesus Cantu III, Joe Angel Cantu and Nathan Jesus Cantu all of Charlotte.

She is preceded in death by her beloved, Jeremy Ward, paternal grandfather Domingo Cantu Sr., paternal grandmother Jesusa Cantu, and maternal grandfather Jesus Cruz Sr.

Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, from 2 - 9 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2012 with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. A funeral service was held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012. Interment followed at Charlotte Community Cemetery.
