Jeremy Ward, age 34, of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in Charlotte.

Mr. Ward was a volunteer firefighter and coach in Charlotte. He is survived by wife Linda Ward of Pleasanton; daughters Lyric Jade Ann Ward of Pleasanton, Natalie Raelyn Ward, Jessica Rose Ward and step-daughter Samantha Jo Luna all of Charlotte; son Jeremy Ward, Jr, Pleasanton and step-sons Johnny Jimenez, III and Daniel Thomas Luna, Jr. both of Charlotte; mother Rosa Ward of San Antonio; sisters Latisha Marie Ann Brown of San Antonio, Janice Ward and Jennifer Ann Ward both of Austin; brothers Robert Joe Ward of Charlotte, Jaime Ward of San Antonio, David Nieto of Lubbock and Angel Ward of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by grandparents, Robert and Ann Ward of Texarkana; and his uncle Robert A. Ward of Lubbock, numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ward is preceded in death by his father Jerry Don Ward; step-father, Ruben Vasquez, Jr.; uncle James Ward and by Sarah Jo Luna, the mother of his daughters, Natalie and Jessica.

Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, from 2 - 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012. Funeral services were held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Charlotte at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012. Interment followed at 1 p.m. at Pleasanton City Cemetery.
