Community Bible Chapel
Community Bible Chapel invites all children ages 5-12 to attend our Vacation Bible School during the week of July 23-27, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. We will take a look at five events in the life of Jesus to discover why He is our Ultimate Hero!
Come join us for stories, songs, games, crafts, refreshments and more as we learn about the greatest Hero of all.

Cowboy Fellowship
Cowboy Fellowship will host Adventures on Promise Island as part of their Summer Blast activities. Kids will discover God’s lifesaving love and learn about five promises that God made with stories, songs, snacks and crafts.
The fun will be Monday, July 16 to Friday, July 20 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. Kids who are entering Kindergarten (age 5 by September 1) up to completed 6th grade are welcome to come.
Each day at Seaside Celebration everyone will participate in music, skits and more as they are introduced to one of God’s promises. At Lifeguard Lagoon, kids will participate in Bible stories. At Project Pointe there will be a variety of creative crafts and purposeful projects to remind them of God’s lifesaving love. Kids will go to Coconut CafĂ© and Fun Time Falls for snacks and games each day, too.

St. John Lutheran Church & Jourdanton United Methodist Church
St. John Lutheran Church, located at 1702 Hwy. 97 East in Jordanton, and Jourdanton United Methodist Church will have their combined Vacation Bible School starting on Sunday evening, July 22- Thursday night, July 26.
The time will be 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. The place will be St. John Lutheran Church.
The theme is “ Amazing Desert Journey” where the children of our community will learn about God’s love through songs, crafts, snacks, games, storytelling, Bible challenges and prayer.
All children 4 years through those that have completed fifth grade are invited to attend.
St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church
A summer kids’ event called Sky will be hosted at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church from July 16 to 20, from 2-6 p.m. each day. At Sky, faith and imagination soar as kids discover that everything is possible with God.
Arrive early for registration on July 16. VBS will begin with daily mass at 2 p.m. Family memebers are invited to attend the mass celebration.
Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamworkbuilding games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience electrifying Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to trust God, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long.
Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with Fly Away Finale— a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 5:30 of Fly Away Finale.
Children are asked to wear the following colors on the following days: Monday- wear red, Tuesday- wear blue, Wednesday- wear yellow, Thursday- wear purple and Friday- wear green.
Kids at Sky will join an international missions effort to squash malaria in the African country of Mali—sending more than a million mosquito nets to protect Malian children.
Sky is for kids from kindergarten age to high school age and will run from 2 to 6 p.m. each day. For more information, call 830-742-8985.
