The Pleasanton City Council will hold its next regular session on Thursday, July 5, at 7 p.m.

Among the items on the evening’s agenda are:

•Review and acceptance of the city attorney’s opinion on options for the rehabilitation of buildings for the Community Center/Library Project.

•Discussion and action on the best option for the rehabilitation of buildings for the Community Center/Library Project

The second public hearing to receive comments on the proposed 120-day moratorium ordinance on RV parks will also be held during this meeting.

After the hearing, council will conduct the second reading of the RV ordinance and then vote on its adoption.

At the first hearing held on July 2, City Manager Bruce Pearson explained the purpose of the 120-day moratorium is not to eliminate RV parks. The purpose is to allow the city to step back, take a look at the existing ordinance and study it further.

The council is also scheduled to hear from Allied Waste Services and consider action on increasing the solid waste disposal rates based on the increase of the Consumer Price Index from April 2011- 12.
