Remember, there are no fireworks allowed in city limits for the

4th of July holiday.

Fire Marshal Scott Garris said that the City of Pleasanton will be enforcing the ordinance. Fines are up to $500 for a Class C Misdemeanor.

Trash pickup for today is still on schedule. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only days trash is not collected in Pleasanton.

Speaking of trash, the next city wide cleanup is set for July 9 through August 9 for bulky items. The service will begin in the northeast side of the city.
