Tarleton releases Distinguished Students’ list

STEPHENVILLE -- Tarleton State University has released the Distinguished Students list for the spring 2012 semester. Students on the list include freshman and sophomore students who have a minimum 3.25 grade point ratio (GPR) and no grade lower than a ‘C,’ and juniors and seniors who have a minimum 3.5 GPR with no grade lower than a ‘C.’ All must be in good standing with the university.

Students making the list include the following:

Shawnie Wagner of Poteet is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Ag Services and Development.



Taci Berry of Poteet is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Communications.

Stefan Campos of Jourdanton is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Management.

Founded in 1899, Tarleton is one of the fastest growing institutions of higher learning in Texas. Just one hour from Fort Worth, Tarleton serves as the educational and cultural flagship of the Cross Timbers Region. It is located in Stephenville, which is included in Norman Crampton’s “The 100 Best Small Towns in America” published by Prentice Hall.
