Sipriano R. Alvarado, age 92, of San Antonio, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in San Antonio. Mr. Alvarado was born July 11, 1919.

He is survived by his wife Guadalupe Alvarado; daughter Diana Tamez; son Donnie Alvarado; grandchildren Carlos Valadez, Deanna Garcia and husband Robert and Moses Valadez; great-grandchildren Danielle and Amber Lopez as well as great-great-grandchild: Nadia Hernandez.

Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2 - 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Funeral service were at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton at 2 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2012. Interment followed at St. Andrew #2 in Pleasanton.
