May 26 •Grand Opening of Robert J. and Helen C. Keleberg South Texas Heritage Center at the Witte Museum. Saturday, May 26 from 10 a.m.- 5p.m. and admission. The center is 20,000 sq ft and houses the Witte South Texas Collection. •15th annual Festival of Flowers at the Alzafar Shrine in San Antonio, Sat. May 26. Indoor Garden Mall with more than 60 retail and non-profit vendors; seminars on growing tomatoes, designing watersaver landscapes, healthy roses and drought survival for trees and shrubs, etc. 9am-5pm. 901 N. May 28 •Jourdanton Alcoholic Anonymous group meets each Monday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 1608 Campbell Ave. in Jourdanton. If you want to stop drinking, they have an answer. June 2 •Rummage Sale United Methodist Women of Jourdanton will be holding a rummage sale from 8 a.m.-12 noon on June 2 at UMC, 1004 Campbell. Great variety of bargains.

June 3 •Summer Concert at the Museum by the County Line Community Band to be followed by a short concert by Atascosa County’s future young musicians; 2:30 to 4:30 at the Longhorn Museum. Sun, June 3.

June 4 •Atascosa-McMullen Retired School Personnel will meet on June 4 at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Jourdanton. District 31 State Representative Ryan Guillen will speak. Bring dues of $35. June 5 •Longhorn Museum Society Meeting, 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at the Longhorn Museum, featuring Ms. Diana Seiˆert and her antique musical instruments.
