First Baptist Church Poteet will hold Vacation Bible School from June 18-22, from 2-5 p.m.

Now is a great time to sign up to take a trip with us at “Amazing Wonders Aviation.” There will be lots of children, 3 years old to sixth graders, having fun, playing games, singing songs and most of all, growing in the relationship with Jesus Christ. Our youth are gearing up for their summer trip to Alto Frio Baptist Encampment. They are planning a fundraiser called “Dinner With The Lord.” This elegant dinner will be held on June 16 from 7-9 p.m. A three course meal will be served by the youth. The menu for the meal will be Cayenne Caesar Salad, a choice of Stuffed Pork Tenderloin or Lemon Pepper Grilled Chicken Breast, mixed vegetables in a garlic sauce, twice baked mashed potatoes and a dessert. A vegetarian meal is available upon request. To reserve a seat you must RSVP and choose your meal. The cost for this wonderful night is $50 per couple and includes Child Care. Please call the church office and RSVP as soon as possible.

We have a new van ministry that will help your family get to church on Sunday mornings. If you need a ride you can call the church office at 830-742-3856 by 10 a.m. on Friday and our van will pick you up and take you home.

Spend Sunday mornings with us as we all come together to give Jesus Christ all the glory, praise and honor that He deserves. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. and Worship Service begins at 11 a.m.
