On Wednesday, May 2, Jourdanton Elementary second grade teachers visited Pleasanton Primary’s second grade teachers and Primary classrooms.

Teachers from both districts collaborated on the research based; “grade departmentalizing”. In this educational concept students have two teachers; one being Language Arts and the other Math, Science, and Social Studies. Primary teachers shared CSCOPE Curriculum expectations, schedules, transition times and student adjustments.

It was a wonderful time to share the successes both districts are having with children in Atascosa County.
