Ruben and Krisstell Perez of Poteet, announce the engagement of their daughter Briana K. Perez to Russell Calliham, son of Ms. Katy Carrigan and the late Larry Carrigan of Three Rivers. Briana is a 2008 graduate of Poteet High School. She attended Angelo State University and graduated with a degree as a Registered Veterinarian Technician from Palo Alto College in May of 2011. Russell is a graduate of McMullen County High School, Tilden. The future groom received a degree as a Certified Diesel Mechanic and is currently employed with Nabors Drilling, Superior Well Service Division in Pleasanton. The couple will exchange wedding vows on the Kosub Family Farm, which has proudly been in the family for seven generations, over 125 years on May 19, 2012. The couple plan to make their home on the farm in Poteet.
