May 12 •Western Weekend at Cowboy Fellowship Youth Rodeo - 10 a.m. Team Roping - 5:30, Petting Zoo, Cook-Ofi and more, all Free. •Bake Sale at the Bigfoot Wallace Museum at 9 a.m. Also for sale: museum t-shirts, post cards, & “Recipes & Remembrances” cookbooks. May 12 & May 15 •Pleasanton Group Alcoholics Anonymous group meets every Tues. at 8:15 p.m. (open discussion, non-smoking) and Sat. at 10 a.m. (nonsmoking, open discussion). Meetings at 914 Ohio St. in Pleasanton.

May 14 •Jourdanton Alcoholic Anonymous group meets each Monday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 1608 Campbell Ave. in Jourdanton. If you want to stop drinking, they have an answer. Help is free. For details call John at 769-4392.

May 15 •Pleasanton Group Al-Anon, relatives & friends of alcoholics, meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. (non-smoking). Meetings at 914 Ohio St. in Pleasanton.

May 15 & 29 •Veterans Peer to Peer Support Group to meet at Cancun Mexican Restaurant, 1411 Jifiy Blvd. in Jourdanton from 6-8 p.m. Next meeting May 15 & 29. Meetings are usually every other Tuesday. May 26 •Grand Opening of Robert J. and Helen C. Keleberg South Texas Heritage Center at the Witte Museum. Saturday, May 26 from 10 a.m.- 5p.m. and admission. The center is 20,000 sq ft and houses the Witte South Texas Collection.
