Our Verdi Community Association does, for one, and I know that the Longhorn Museum does, too. Perhaps they would like to call either or both of these groups and get all the directions so they can apply for them. After all, your kids can't learn how any younger, can they!
I mentioned about it before, but in case you didn't see it, don't forget that the "BlueCreek Singers" are going to be conducting the morning services at Trinity Baptist Church in Pleasanton. Everyone is invited to come, bring a pot luck dish for a great fellowship/dinner after the service and let’s see what "Blue Grass" gospel music really sounds like! See you there!
Just a reminder to be careful! One of my friends had a "near death" experience this past week. It could happen to us all. She had a stain on one of her bathroom appliances that she just couldn't get off. She found a new cleaning product and thought she would try it. When she put some of the new product onto the old stain, she didn't realize that there was still some of the old stain remover on it. Mixing the two brought up the vapor of chlorinegas. She quickly put on the vent fan, and got out of the room, but she was very fortunate that she didn't inhale too much.
I was very excited to notice in our paper this week that there is going to be a class on avoiding "Identity Theft". It seems that Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and Thrivent Financial will host this session on what steps to take to hopefully prevent identity theft and what to do if your identity is stolen. It is set for Wednesday, May 2, at 6:30 p.m.
Our next Verdi Community Association meeting will be Thursday evening May 24, the meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Hope all of you who live out here will come and share your views and let’s get some long-overdue business completed. See you there!
