Recycling for Poteet Strawberry Festival scholarship fund

The Poteet Strawberry Festival committee, along with River City Steel, will be hosting a free electronics recycling event for the public on Saturday, March 31 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the festival grounds. The proceeds will go to benefit the Poteet Strawberry Festival Scholarship Fund. Our mission is to provide the residents of Atascosa County and the surrounding area with an easy way to ensure their outdated and non-working electronics are recycled in a manner that is eco-friendly.

Also, during the Strawberry Festival this year, there will be several locations throughout the festival grounds to recycle aluminum cans and plastic.

The list below will tell you about everything you can bring to the electronics recycling event. If you have any questions contact the festival office at 830-742-8144 or Daniel de la Torre at River City Steel at 210-924-1254.
