The Pleasanton Eagles dropped the District 57-4A district opener at home last Friday night. Missed opportunities early, resulted in a tough loss to the McCollum Cowboys. Pleasanton falls to 2-10 overall and 0-1 in district.

The Eagles dropped a 4-1 decision to the Cowboys as Alfredo Perez accounted for the lone goal for Pleasanton.

“We fought hard, but fell to the Cowboys. We had many chances early to take a lead, but came up a little short. I am proud of our boys as they kept battling it out until the end,” stated Coach Gerald Bermea.

Upcoming Games- On Friday, February 24th the Eagles will host the Harlandale Indians with a 7:00 p.m. varsity start. On Saturday, February 25th the Jv Eagles battle the Indians at 12:00 noon.

On Tuesday, February 28th the Eagles will travel to Floresville to battle the Tigers with a 5:00 p.m. Jv and a 7:00 p.m. Varsity contest.
