Poteet senior Adriana DeLaFuente is Regional Bound after an excellent performance during her regular season Powerlifting Meets. She will compete in Calallen on March 3rd. Poteet Agate Powerlifter Adriana DeLaFuente is regional bound after competing in her final meet of the season. DeLaFuente was one of three Lifters competing at Medina Valley last Saturday.

DeLaFuente was able to finish in second place, for the first time this season in her 105 lb. weight class. She finished with a 575 lb. total, which was thanks to a 250 lb. squat, a 100 lb. bench press and a 225 lb. dead lift. Currently she ranks in 3rd place in the Region just behind two girls who have totaled 580 lbs.

Ricky Guerra was able to finish in 3rd place in his 123 lb. weight class with a 950 lb. total as Ronnie Lucio finished in 6th place in the 275 lb. weight class with a 1,195 lb. total.

The Aggies will be competing in their final meet on Saturday in East Central where both will aim to qualify for Regional.

Adriana will compete in Calallen on Saturday, March 3rd at the Regional Meet as she will shoot for a slot at the State Meet.
