So many people in Atascosa County are looking for something- something that will turn their lives around. Something that will improve their marriage, their work environment, their families and most of all themselves. Here at First Baptist Church Poteet we want to help everyone find that something.

We want to help everyone see and realize that we all have troubles, we all have pain, we all have hurts, hang-ups and habits that are destroying the people we love and care about and that are destroying us too.

We are starting a free program at First Baptist Church Poteet called “Celebrate Recovery.” This is a Bible based program where anyone can come and feel safe and secure as you learn to let go of all your pain, disappointments and past failures. You will learn to grow in knowing that Jesus Christ is reaching out to you, wanting to help you, wanting to protect you, wanting to comfort you and wanting to give you peace.

Also on March 4-7, Bro. Jason Dykes will be here at FBC Poteet for a four day Revival sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Bro. Dykes is an evangelist from North Texas who has been called by God and brings a highly powerful sermon. Come and join us for all four days and allow the Lord to work and move in your heart as you listen to Bro. Dykes and worship with others who love and follow Jesus Christ.

The four day Revival starts on Sunday, March 4 as Bro. Dykes leads our 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. services. Services Monday thru Wednesday will begin at 6 p.m. There will be times of fellowship following each of the services.
