Coming off a week of positives, the Squaws stumbled through a week of lop-sided losses. The Squaws fell to Cotulla and state ranked Poth, as they fell to 8-22 overall and 4-9 in 30-2A action.

Cotulla- With a victory over Three Rivers, the Squaws were hoping to snag two in a row on the road in Cotulla. The Cowgirls had something a little different on their mind, as Coach Randy Ramirez and the Cowgirls came out and set the tone early. Cotulla outscored the Squaws 15-2 in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Squaws began to find more success offensively, but had no answer for the Cowgirls defensively. Cotulla outscored the Squaws, 19-13 to take a 34-15 lead into the locker room at the half.

In the second half, the Cowgirls were able to run past Jourdanton edging them 20-13 in the third quarter and 9-7 in the fourth. When it was all said and done, Jourdanton dropped a 63-35 decision.

Kyanna Floyd led the Squaws with 11 points in the game as Jamie Cooper added 8-points.

Poth- On Friday night, the state ranked Poth Pirettes came to town and showed no mercy on the Squaws. Things started off rough from the start, as Poth outscored the Squaws 31-2 in the first quarter. Poth went on to defeat Jourdanton 87-15. Jamie Cooper led the Squaws with 8-points in the game.
