Lions have great stocking stuffers

JEFF CHICOINE
PLEASANTON LIONS CLUB

The Pleasanton Lions Club would like to wish your family from ours a Merry Christmas. Please keep in mind as you enjoy your holidays that there are families in our area that are less fortunate. Please donate to your local civic or church group that is helping provide food and gifts for these families. Open your heart and you will be rewarded.

Don’t forget that last minute gift or a great stocking stuffer – tickets to our Annual Wild Game Dinner and Dance. This event will be taking place on Saturday, February 25, and we are already selling tables and tickets. This is an event you don’t want to miss. We have already sold 23 tables so act now. We would like to thank Manning Safety in Jourdanton for being one of our stage sponsors and also McBee’s BBQ in Pleasanton for being one of our auction area sponsors.

We are still taking sponsorships if your company would like to make a tax deductible donation. These sponsorships include advertisement, amenities and table(s) to the event. Stage Sponsorships are $2,000, Auction Sponsorships are $1,000 and tables of 8 are currently $500.00 a piece until January 15th then will be at $600. We are now in the beginning stages of getting auction items and animals for the event. For table sales, auction items and sponsorships please contact Rey Rodriguez at 830-569-5040 or email at frndly_ txn@msn.com. For tickets you can go by Wall’s in Pleasanton or contact them at 830-569-2579.

As a reminder the Lions Club of Pleasanton is dedicated to serving Pleasanton and Atascosa County. All funds raised go to help with our scholarships, eye glasses for children, stock show donations, help the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, sending children with disabilities to summer camp FREE of charge and support for the Pleasanton Leo Club. Every donation received is tax deductible and will help. Thank you!
