Alfred Thomas Mosier, Jr. (Tommy), age 79, of Luling, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, in Luling. Mr. Mosier was born December 22, 1931.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jo Mosier; parents, Alfred and Lula Mosier and brother, Grover Williams Mosier. He is survived by children, Linda Manley of Manvel, Brenda Duerer and husband James of Houston, Chip Mosier and wife Trish of Iola, Robert Mosier and wife Martha of College Station. He is also survived by nephews, Tom Mosier and wife Catherine of West, Emmett Mosier and wife Brenda of Leona; nieces, Shirley Bates and husband Dick of Paducah, Kathy Gremminger and husband James of Cottonwood; grandchildren, Chance, Randie, Gray, Jodie, Skeet, Casi, Cami, Robert Jr., John, Makenzie, as well as great-grandchildren, Madison, Rope, Twister, Payton, Brynn, Kelton and Sticker and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Mosier of West, Barbara Bacon and husband Gary of San Antonio, Modie Stephenson and husband Jack of Hindes, Belane Harrod and husband Wood of Oakville and Frances Reed and husband Gary of Kingsbury.

Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011. The family received friends between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. Thursday evening. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday November 18, 2011 at Hurley Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Christine City Cemetery.
